From the 28th of December
through the 16th of January
the solar panels at Turtle Rock Farm
produced 256 kilowat hours of energy—
enough to heat nine houses for a day;
and 391 pounds of carbon—
the offset equivalent of four trees.
The sun is doing all the work
without creating even the tiniest bit of toxicity
in the air.
“Clean energy”
has much greater meaning
to us now.
Let’s do what we need to do
to help the sun
share its light and warmth
everywhere.
